So this weekend are the Canadian Idol auditions in my area and I'm going to try out. Now I know I'm not really all the best at it, but I'm just doing it for fun. I still have not decided my song choices. I should have 5 prepared and my list at the moment has about a billion. Here are a few that I've been doing at vocal lessons and were some of the top favourites from friends and co-workers, teachers etc. My family has never heard me sing so I can't ask for their opinion. I know you don't know how I sound when I sing but trust me these ones I fortunatly can do mildly well. I have a rock edge but get a country accent some times so it's strange. Please help me decide.
Angels- Robbie Williams
Pull me through- Jim Cuddy
Are We Done- Mugshot
Don't Speak- No Doubt
Edge of Seventeen- Stevie nicks
Joey-Concrete Blonde
I go Crazy- DHT
Good Mother- Jann Arden
When I think About Cheating- Gretchen Wilson
Who I am- Jessica Andrews
Picture-Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock
Wave on Wave- Pat Green
Wherever you will go- The Calling
I believe in you- Amanda Marshall
All you wanted- Michelle Branch
It Matters to me- Faith Hill
If- Butch Walker
Pour que tu m'aimes encore- Celine Dion
I could not Ask For More- edwin McCain
Just Friends- Frickin' A
Chariot- Gavin DeGraw
Daughters- John Mayer
There are a lot more but I just thought I'd give you a bit of what I'm looking at. If you have any suggestions that would be really appreciated thanks everyone!
